Poker is a topic that we can elaborate on for pages and pages because it has so many variations. For anyone out there who does not play the game, here are a few tips on the basics of standard poker.

So, you've caught onto the craze of poker, and need some pointers to get an edge over your competitors. Here is a short list to improve your game and make you top dog at your next game.

1) Learn all of your opponent's tells - Every person has specific actions, or tells, that give away their cards. The best players are able disguise their tells, but even the best players have trouble completely hiding their emotions. So, the first step is to learn your opponents inside and out. This will make them easier to call their bluffs and make sure that your hand is better than your opponent's hand.

My first motorcycle was a 1943 Flat Head Harley Davidson. When I found the bike for sale I had no money, but I knew I wanted this dream machine. I wasn't making enough money to pay for it so I needed a plan. I came up with a way to raise money and throw a great party at the same time. I organized a Poker Run.
